Strategic Marketing Intensives

Senior commercial perspective. Directly bookable.

Senior commercial perspective, in a format you can reserve directly.

There are moments when a business needs a larger consultancy engagement: a launch, a market-entry strategy, an embedded Fractional CMO or an extended period of commercial leadership.

And there are moments when the problem is already sitting in front of you.

A proposal needs signing.

A retailer pitch needs strengthening.

A peak-trading plan needs challenging.

Next year’s marketing investment needs deciding.

Strategic Intensives are designed for those moments.

Each engagement has a defined remit, published investment and named output. You reserve an available date in my diary, complete the relevant briefing and send the material I need. I review the work personally.

No preliminary sales meeting is required for the directly bookable Intensives.

A more direct way to access senior marketing counsel

I have spent more than a decade working across luxury retail, fashion, jewellery, watches, accessories, beauty, wholesale, trade marketing and brand partnerships, including senior in-house experience at Selfridges HQ.

Much of my wider consultancy work is, and will remain, bespoke.

Strategic Intensives take a different shape.

They are designed around one contained commercial requirement and one defined piece of work. The objective is to give founders and senior marketing teams access to experienced external thinking without creating a larger engagement around a problem that does not require one.

Choose the right Intensive.

Reserve the date.

Send the work.

I take it from there.

How it works

1.Choose

Select the Strategic Intensive that fits the decision or problem in front of you.

2. Reserve

Choose one of the available Decision Days, Review Days or Intensive Dates.

3. Pay

Directly bookable Intensives are paid in full when the date is reserved.

4. Brief

You are taken to a confidential briefing form where you provide the context and upload the agreed material.

5. Review

I complete the preparation and analysis set out within the scope.

6. Delivery

Your selected date is reserved in my diary for your work. Where a live working session is included, its timing is confirmed as part of the booking process.

The value is in the decision afterwards

I have never believed that the quality of consultancy should be measured by the thickness of the deck.

These engagements are intentionally contained.

A useful Strategic Intensive should leave you knowing what I see, what I would question and what I believe should happen next.

If the requirement turns out to be broader, I will say so.

If a longer piece of work is warranted, we can discuss it separately.

Who these are designed for

Strategic Intensives are particularly well suited to:

  • Founders and CEOs of premium and luxury businesses.
  • Marketing Directors, Brand Directors and Commercial Directors.
  • Fashion, jewellery, watches, accessories, beauty and fragrance brands.
  • Luxury hospitality, travel, interiors and premium service businesses.
  • International brands preparing to enter or grow within the UK.
  • Agencies and senior teams looking for experienced external counsel around one defined issue.

Personally delivered

Every Strategic Intensive is reviewed and delivered by me.

There is no junior strategy team behind the booking page and no handover to a different consultant once you have paid.

My perspective has been shaped across retailer, distributor, brand, agency and trade environments, with work spanning household luxury houses, founder-led businesses and multimillion-pound campaigns.

That cross-section is particularly useful when a commercial decision touches several disciplines at once.

My work and thought leadership across these sectors has been featured / published across The Independent, WWD, Retail Week, Glossy and WATCHPRO UK & US. You can learn more about me here and you can explore my LinkedIn profile here.

"Having worked alongside Hannah while at Vivienne Westwood, with her based at Selfridges HQ, I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most collaborative and commercially minded brand partners I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Across key campaigns, including the Selfridges Yellow Magazine, Christmas Gift Guide features, and building Vivienne Westwood bags as a category pillar at Selfridges, Hannah brought exactly the right combination of strategic clarity and genuine partnership. She was always open, receptive, and professional, making cross-brand collaboration feel seamless rather than transactional. What struck me most was her ability to hold both the brand vision and the commercial reality at the same time, she understood what mattered to us as a brand, and consistently found ways to elevate that within Selfridges’ environment. Any brand or founder lucky enough to work with Hannah will find not just a skilled luxury marketer, but a true partner. I’d recommend her without reservation."

FAQs

What is a Strategic Intensive?

A Strategic Intensive is a fixed-scope advisory engagement built around one defined commercial, marketing or retail requirement. The scope, investment and output are published before you book.

Do I need a chemistry call first?

Not for the directly bookable Intensives. If the service fits your requirement, you can reserve an available date and pay online. Larger bespoke projects still begin through the consultancy application process.

Are Strategic Intensives only for luxury brands?

Luxury and premium businesses are my core specialism, although some Intensives are appropriate for adjacent consumer, hospitality, service and agency businesses where my commercial experience is relevant.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. Hannah Alley Consulting is UK-based and works with clients internationally. Most advisory work can be delivered remotely.

Can I book an Intensive and then continue into a larger project?

Yes, where a broader engagement is appropriate and there is mutual fit. Certain products also include a defined fee-credit mechanism where stated.

Are my materials confidential?

Yes. Client information is treated as confidential, and reasonable mutual NDAs can be accommodated where required.

One question. One decision. One piece of senior counsel.

Explore the Strategic Intensives and reserve the date that fits your business.
